Dear Ukrainian citizens Switzerland has a long-lasting tradition of international help and assistance for persons in danger due to war or international crisis.
Our association, the Swiss Association of Consulting Engineers, which
represents the independent Swiss engineering firms, is extremely sad
and concerned about the war in Ukraine. We strongly condemn the
aggression and are in thoughts with the Ukrainian people.
We
are thankful that the Swiss Government acted quickly and granted the
protection status S to all refugees from Ukraine in a very pragmatic and
non-bureaucratic way. We sincerely hope that Ukrainian refugees find
safety and calm in Switzerland. The protection status S also includes the right to work in Switzerland. No waiting period is imposed.
The member firms of our association share our concerns and are
dedicated to offer short- or medium-term employment, internships, or
similar occupation for Ukrainian refugees. Particularly, but not
exclusively, persons with experience and knowledge in engineering,
architecture, construction site management, project management,
environment, planning etc., including civil engineering draughtsmen /
civil engineering draughtswomen, are highly welcome to pronounce their
interest in a Swiss employment.
The firm listed below are
happy to receive any declaration of interest. They are willing to seek
possibilities for employment in their respective firms, including
potential further assistance (language courses, assistance with children
etc.).
